i thought some of you may be interested in this response i got to my pictures of the kirkpinar festival. the frull thread can be seen at google news groups.

Well, the olive oil wrestling festival pictures were somewhat
disappointing. There's plenty of pictures of the men but only one
picture of the young boys that are no doubt the center of attention
for those men.
By the way, those young boys don't look too happy. Any reason
why?

take my comments that way? You're the one that posted a URL that
contains pictures of grown men lubing themselves up with olive oil
and one picture of a group of young boys that are no doubt the
center of atention.
If you think my comments are offensive, please explain why
you posted the URL. Then tell the readership why you were at the
event. Did you participate in any olive oil "wrestling" matches?
